Diverse items are created in this filed of metal craft. The malleable precious sheet metals like Gold, Silver, Brass or copper is moulded into required shapes and then they are covered with a layer of liquid Lac on the reserve side. when the Lac is settled, the metal sheets are hammered and chiselled over the Lac , which bulges the design on the forefront. Platters, jugs, betel boxes and many other such articles decorated with these endemic fretwork leave everybody spellbound.
